“Now, I know that someday I am going to come to what some people will say is the end of this life. They will probably put me in a box and roll me right down here in front of the church, and some people will gather around, and a few people will cry. But I have told them not to do that because I don’t want them to cry. I want them to begin the service with the Doxology and end with the Hallelujah chorus, because I am not going to be there, and I am not going to be dead. I will be more alive than I have ever been in my life, and I will be looking down upon you poor people who are still in the land of dying and have not yet joined me in the land of the living. And I will be alive forevermore, in greater health and vitality and joy than ever, ever, I or anyone has known before.”

D. James Kennedy, Ph.D.

Had some doctrines I didn't agree with.

But I liked the man. Really did.

Hallelujah to what Kennedy stated. Thats also how I want my funeral to be. Not a ceremony of death but one of living and no more suffering. Eventually all us Christians will be together again.

I liked the way he didnt seem to waver even when trouble came.

Although I didn't agree with part of his doctrine, I always felt like he was an exceptional man. Really a sweet and exceptional man.

I loved the way he wasn't afraid to stand for righteousness, no matter who it hairlipped. And he never answered his critics in anger or hate... always carried a sweet spirit. He was a humble man.

So, in your collective opinion, how many macrosocially influential good teachers are left?

For starters, I would suggest Charles Stanley and Hal Lindsey.

Fewer every day.

Can you be more specific with more concrete data? Or should we start a "good teacher tracker" thread in the Pre-Trib Discussion (http://www.christiantalkzone.net/forum/forumdisplay.php?f=161) forum for collective research?

No. I cannot name names because the vast majority of teachers are local folk, only known in their neighborhoods.

But I can say that many are older. As they die off there are not younger ones coming up to replace them.
