Fidel Castro: Is He Dead Or Alive?
The rumor seems to have started on Wall Street, and the State Department's taking it seriously. WPLG-TV in Miami says it has a reporter in Havana tonight, and the streets are quiet.
Quite the opposite is the case in South Florida. According to NBC-6 a large group of Cuban-Americans went to Versailles, the town square in Little Havana, to determine if Castro was alive or dead.
It was reported at that time that his health had taken a turn for the worse and the Fidel Deathwatch had begun.
So where is Fidel? No one knows and that is helping fan the rumor flames. several sources in different branches of the government are verifying that Castro is dead, according to Babalu Blog.
