I'm new, both to the forum and to Christianity. This forum seemed like the place to discover what to make of something like this:
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&ssPageName=ADME:L:LCA:US:11&item=200109399405
To me, the angel looks real, and I've heard of these things happening, but what do you all think?
Thanks,
N.B.

I think that if she can unload that frying pan for $1500, then the buying public is even dumber than what even I give them credit for!!!.......all the best......

Why would an angel be on a frying pan.

What a con job. Going after the Catholics as easy marks.

An old Cupid pattern just about anyone in the antique trade would recognize.

On a serious note, Whenever these so-called phenomenens occur, I'm always aghast at the responses I see from the public. Whats up? Are people really that spiritually empty? This is my question, How would you know it was the virgin mary's face' if it did appear in your pancake? Who knows what she looked like? A womans face seems to always get attributed to Mary. Why is it never Hilary Clinton or Oprah or Jay-lo that we can verify, and truly say "now here is an amazing thing".....all the best........

From what I understand, that grilled cheese sandwich went for $28,000. If it's such a farce, what's the allure? What is it that people want so badly to believe in?

The RCC, New Age, Occult and such are all extremely signs and wonders oriented. Experience over God's word.

They see omens and everything else in everything that moves. Then get all worked up about it trying discern the meanings of the messages.

You see this in Pentecostalism and it offspring, such as WoF, a ton.

Sad, but true.
