I don't know if this is the right spot to post this question. Here goes.... I'm not a new Christian. Until about two years ago I really studied, on my own. I tried different churches but they were annoyed with my questions or thought I was too controversial. (sp) Then my husband found he has cancer. I've been Preoccupied with him. What I'm getting at is this..... I'm really REALLY feeling the nudging of the Holy Spirit to study again. I feel like He's telling me that it's time to stop fooling around and to get busy. Do you know of any online Bible study or any particular Bible study that is for mature Christians? I'm out of practice, so to speak. I feel like I need some structure in my study. Any help is appreciated.

VMOON It is a noble thing that you seek! I'm sure many would be eager to offer this to you online. As a word of caution though, beware of all the denomination biased lessons out there. It's very to be led down the garden path. In the end' the BIBLE is it's own best commentary. Avoid over-emphasis on wild far-flung prophecies about the future. Seek material that will "feed the spirit", So that JESUS can do HIS work in you. May GOD bless you.....All the best.......................

Kay-Gee, a word of caution, you are right there is a lot of false doctrine out there there is also a lot of good bible study on prophecy here and other places.
Just because you don`t put any stock in prophecy you shouldn`t discourage others from seeking it.

Let me put what ITW said in stronger terms.
Feel free to dispute us. But do it Biblically.
Just throwing out rhetorical statements telling people to not study prophecy will not be tolerated. Understand that.
Post Biblical verses, and such, to disprove us. But your approach ends quickly when it is aimed at discouraging others from learning and questioning.

SORRY BOUT THAT! I take back my words about online BIBLE study. There is a virtual "Smorgasbord" of stuff to get a person on there way, out there in TV land. Catch John Hagee on most christian networks, (11:00 pm, I think) and for dessert (about 12:30am) get "Jack Van Impe presents". Pretty much all you need to know right there! I like ITW's rebuke better. He seems much kinder and gets the message to me just as well...All the best..............

;) All those guys are in the 'problem forums' here.
As for ITW, he can answer for himself.
