Is selfnessness biblical??
Do you mean selflessness?

yes, thats what I mean...
I believe that Christians have a different attitude towards acquiring mass quantities of worldly goods. . .
Christians realize that they are just passing through this world and that God is going to burn it all up someday.
Those who are lost only believe and trust in the stuff they can see. . . .

Definitely not Christ like, selfishness, pride, conceitedness, control freaks, greed, all bad attributes.

Agree with Sid and ITW.
Selflessness is not non awareness of self or lack of desire for self. It is putting others before self in importance and recognizing the needs of others often outweigh personal need or desire.

guess I'm kindof wondering, how to deal with those who
take too much. expecting one to be selfless but not themselves.
and how God expects us to handle it all.
because that causes resentment....

That depends totally on what they say and how they say it.

Ah! The old forgive everything and let God worry about it. Of course, as long as it is not them feeling wronged.

ok I got it....!
in the back of my head I was wondering if this is what it was
but I was'nt clear for me even.
so my question, what is the right perspective since this is all I've pretty much ever known?
I dont know the balance, when others come first, and when there is time/room for just me.... hope my question is clear enough, I feel I'm not using the right words.

Balance is the key.
There are times when it is total sacrifice and times when it is total resistance. Most the time it is a combo of the two.

I need to learn resistance, it is very difficult for me.
now to learn how too! been learning it, and am better but its a area I really need to learn.
