he wanted to know why people today dont see angels like they used to
he was watching a cartoon of Jesus birth, with the angels and all when he asked.

Because many think it was a common experience because of the mentions in the Bible.

But the fact is that the Bible speaks of a time period covers several thousand years. Spread those experiences listed out over that time and you see it was not a common experience.

Angels still do appear to people. As do demons.

But angels do not appear without excellent reason.

With the Bible, there is even less need than when the Bible didn't exist.

Angels and demons are out there and very active.

Gods revelation to man has been made complete in the Holy Bible. It is no longer nessesary for angels to be employed to bring Gods announcements as was the case in Bethlehem. The Book actually tells us to be wary of messages of angels and particularily of those who claim to have received messages from them ie....Mohammed, Joseph Smith etc....

There is a distinction between angels appearing in prophetic fashion and as workers for God.

While I agree revelation is complete, the application on day to day basis is an ongoing truth and reality.

There, the work of the Holy Spirit, angels, witnesses and such are in full effect.

Most of the time people don't even know an angel was around. Or, a demon, for that matter.

Really sad is that most don't hear the Holy Spirit any more.

boy I sure agree.
and yet for those saying they always followed the HS all the time,
it was like they were doing all the telling and talking, no quietness and stillness to just listen and NO studying. :ick:
