Jesus Christ (whom the Moslems call Hadhrat Isa or Isa ibn Maryam, the Messiah of Guidance) also figures prominently in Muslim prophecy. Christians deny the validity of the prophet Mohammed (pboh), but his followers acknowledge Jesus Christ as a great prophet, albeit not as the demigod that Christians have made of him.
In the opinion of Moslems, Jesus (alayhe sallam: as) was sent only to the Children of Israel. He had no responsibility whatsoever to other nations or people. The Moslems justifiably resent the putative "Christians" who foist their disfunctional pretensions on other, older cultures (not that the Moslems are much better in that regard, in some respects).

I need some links.
to me these dreams and visions remind me of marian junk.
not to say that God could'nt use a dream or vision to turn someone
Biblical Scripture places high importance on acknowledging Christ Jesus's proper identity[1], especially in obtaining salvation[2]. And, pursuant to this imperative, we observe that Biblical Christianity and Islam do not describe Christ Jesus's identity and accomplishments in an identifical way.
For instance, we observe that the Biblical Scriptures identify Christ Jesus as God incarnate . . .
John 5:18 [NIV (http://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=John%205:18;&version=31;)]
For this reason the Jews tried all the harder to kill him; not only was he breaking the Sabbath, but he was even calling God his own Father, making himself equal with God.

. . . while the Qur'an denies that 'Isa, or Jesus, is Allah incarnate.
Surah 5 (http://www.usc.edu/dept/MSA/quran/005.qmt.html), "The Dinner Table"
[5.72] Certainly they disbelieve who say: Surely Allah, He is the Messiah, son of Marium; and the Messiah said: O Children of Israel! serve Allah, my Lord and your Lord. Surely whoever associates (others) with Allah, then Allah has forbidden to him the garden, and his abode is the fire; and there shall be no helpers for the unjust.
[5.73] Certainly they disbelieve who say: Surely Allah is the third (person) of the three; and there is no god but the one God, and if they desist not from what they say, a painful chastisement shall befall those among them who disbelieve.
[5.74] Will they not then turn to Allah and ask His forgiveness? And Allah is Forgiving, Merciful.
[5.75] The Messiah, son of Marium is but an apostle; apostles before him have indeed passed away; and his mother was a truthful woman; they both used to eat food. See how We make the communications clear to them, then behold, how they are turned away.

In addition, the Gospel of Christ Jesus is this: Repent and believe the Gospel (Mark 1:14-15 (http://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=Mark%201:14-15;&version=31;))! Christ Jesus, God made flesh[5], lived under the Law[6] without breaking the Law[7], died to pay our sin debt[8], and was resurrected by God[9] after three days[10] to bring us new life[11][12]. If you truly believe in this good news, then you should turn to God in Goldy repentance[13] and call on Christ Jesus as Lord[14] and Savior[15] in genuine[16] belief[17]. Otherwise, you have not truly changed, but rather simply adopted another fruitless intellectual position.
By grace alone[18], God credits us with his righteousness[19], so no man may boast.
However, Islam completely denies that Christ Jesus was crucified (Sura 4:156-158 (http://www.usc.edu/dept/MSA/quran/004.qmt.html)). In fact, Islam rejects the idea that mankind needs to atone for its sin with blood atonement (Sura 22:36-37 (http://www.usc.edu/dept/MSA/quran/022.qmt.html)), as required in Leviticus 17:11 (http://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=Leviticus%2017:11;&version=31;) and Hebrews 9:22 (http://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=Hebrews%209:22;&version=31;).
Hence, in conclusion, Biblical Christianity and Islam communicate two different messages. Specifically, as demonstrated by the material immediately above, they describe Christ Jesus's identity and accomplishments differently. Yet, many people naively believe that Biblical Christianity and Islam's joint usage of the name "Jesus" nullifies these critical theological differences.
