What are the buttons above all about?

The next box, that says Verdana in it, are the fonts you can pick from. Click the down arrow, on the right side, click the font you want. Click before you type and that font will be used. Highlight text and click to change the font.

The next box, with the 2 in it, is font size. Larger the number the larger the text will be. Click to make all newly typed that size. Highlight and click to change the size.
