Are the Jews really Jews?

I heard someone I respect say, "There are no real Jews now. They're mutts." :(

What do you think about this?

There are a few million Jews in Israel and New York State who would dispute that.

Some Christians whose endtime beliefs center around amillennialism and replacement theology have serious problems reconciling their beliefs with the inconvenient reality that the nation of Israel poses.
