This is my opinon. Others may have different ones.
Satan showed himself as a snake/serpent/dragon to Eve. In the ancient languages, and even in some modern ones, the terms have a closer relationship than they do in the English.
As in a Dragon is a serpent and an snake is a serpent.
It shows Satan as a being of great power and cunning. Since Eve he has born the symbol of Dragon and serpent, a creature that crawls in the dust while being extremely cunning and dangerous.
In Revelation Satan is the Dragon. The 6th Bowl speaks of the dragon, not Dragon, to me showing the statue has a name given due to who possesses it. The Dragon in the statue of the AC erected by the FP is the dragon.
Compare that to the 8th king, who is the demon of an ancient king, per John, who I believe is Alexander. Being in Alexander and ruling through him made him the 5th King spoken of by Daniel. And the 8th King who was, is not and will be.
What I am trying to get at is that, in the Bible, when a demon works through someone the identities of both are merged and spoken of as one person. So, the demon was the 5th king, the man was the 5th king and they together were the 5th king.
So the Statues is the dragon, Satan as the Dragon is the dragon and they are they dragon.
Hope that helped.

John says it will look like the AC.
Another mockery.
This time of the Father in me and me in the Father.
