The Arab American Institute's annual Congressional scorecard looks at issues including "Lebanon, Palestine, the Dubai Ports controversy, immigration and civil liberties."

Among the members of AAI's "Hall of Fame" are Democrats Representatives Neil Abercrombie (HI), John Conyers (MI), John Dingell (MI), Marcy Kaptur (OH), Dennis Kucinich (OH), and Jim McDermott (WA).

Listed in AAI's "Hall of Shame" are Republican Senators George Allen (VA), Jon Kyl (AZ), Rick Santorum (PA), and Jim Talent (MO).

It's worth remembering where some of those "Hall of Fame" members are likely to be if Democrats take the House:

Rep. Conyers would chair the House Judiciary Committee;
Rep. Dingell would chair the Energy and Commerce Committee
Rep. Kucinich would chair the Government Reform Committee's Subcommittee on National Security;
Rep. Abercrombie would chair the Armed Services Committee’s Subcommittee on Tactical Air and Land Forces;
Rep. McDermott would chair a subcommittee of the powerful House Ways and Means Committee.

According to a poll by Zogby International for the Arab American Institute, Arab Americans in four battleground states (Michigan, Ohio, Pennsylvania, and Florida) support the Democratic candidate for governor and senator by large margins (in some cases by 2:1 or 3:1 over the Republican).

AAI President James Zogby notesin his analysis of the poll, "By a strong margin of three-to-one, Arab Americans say Democrats would do a better job of protecting civil liberties and dealing with Iraq than the Republican Party.

Arab American confidence in the ability of Democrats to deal with Lebanon, Palestine, and corruption is lower, but here too Democrats maintain a two-to-one advantage over Republicans."

Yea. Deal with it by turning a blind eye and allowing them to push an Islamic agenda.
