Greetings in the name of Christ Jesus, everyone. :tiphat:
Romans 13 [NIV] (http://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=Romans%2013:1-2;&version=31;)
1 Everyone must submit himself to the governing authorities, for there is no authority except that which God has established. The authorities that exist have been established by God. 2 Consequently, he who rebels against the authority is rebelling against what God has instituted, and those who do so will bring judgment on themselves.
Do we choose our governmental authorities, or does God predestine certain governments for different reasons?
For instance, under Romans 13:1-7 (http://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=Romans%2013:1-7;&version=31;), one could claim that 'Elohiym (http://www.studylight.org/lex/heb/view.cgi?number=0430) predestined all detestable governments, such as Roman Emperor Nero's government, Alexander the Great's government, and Vlad Tepes Dracula's government.

I really don't think we can blame God for Hitler, Idi Amin and Saddam Hussein.
These three regimes are poster children for resistance to a government that violates the Biblical purposes for which God had ordained civil government.

God did not choose Saddam's or Hitlers path for them, but God is powerful and all knowing , so what is really neat about bad people like those two and Satan for that matter is that God is able to use thier abuses and evil nature for his own plans. God takes the evil they plan and turns it around for his own glory that all the world might one day know his name and his wonderful love and mercy to mankind.
The scripture says to Pharoah.
For this very reason I have raised you up, that I might show my power in you, and thus my name might be proclaimed in all the earth. Romans 9:17
God didn't choose pharoahs actions. He knew in advance though that pharoah would enslave Gods people the hebrews for 400 years. They were allowed under the goverment of Pharoah some semblence of a normal life. They were married , they had children. But each waking day of thier life was devoted to toil and labor to feed thier goverment. ( pharoah)
We in this nation are no different than were the Hebrew slaves. We are born in a nation that has a tax system we must slave our entire lifes to satisfy our corrupt goverment.
I am sure that God will soon deal with this nation much as he did with the goverment of Pharoah Lucky strike. After all God warned us in judges and Chronicles not to ask for judges and rulers to be appointed over his people. Yet the people wanted it!
God warned that where human judges and rulers were they would always be as a yoke on the neck of his people.
We were warned no goverment of men would ever be anything but corrupt, yet we chose this corruption. The good news is I think most of us have learned not to ask for any King or president to lead us.. Most of us long for God to rule his people .
So just as he showed the the world his power and glory when he freed the Hebrews from thier 400 years of enslavement by eygpt.
God's name shall be known across the world when he frees his people once again from the corrupt goverments that enslave them . Including our goverment . As a matter of fact our goverment may be high on his list , to make a example of. After all we proclaim to be a christian land , but our history proves our hypocracy.

God chooses all governments, as Lucky showed.
There are two ways to appoint governments. First, to bring forward to a nation willing to accept a good one good leaders.
Second, to withhold good leaders so that a nation gets what it deserves.
So, most assuredly, God appointed Hitler and Saddam to a people who got what they deserved. Any student of history, and such, can tell you they are/were exact reflections of the nations' peoples.
The AC will be God appointed. Released and authorized in the First Seal. An angent of God's purposes.
So, stop and think before you say God is not behind who is in government when he tells us no government every goes in place without his consent.

and I thought of Paul was'nt Nero ceaser at that time?
and for Christians there was'nt any proper justice.
one thing v. mcgee said was that the basest of men rule and the people will get leaders just like themselves....

We'll know Wednesday if we are truly getting the government we deserve.
