Wine , was it alcohoholic

I was wondering if the wine in the bible is alcoholic wine , or just grape juice .
this is anohter topic which seems to have people all over the place.

I watch alot of Kent Hovind videos and he always says that the wine in the bible made by Jesus at the wedding was just grape juice, how does he come to this conclusion?

Not sure if your familiar with Kent Hovind , he is a creation evangalist.

As much as some would like to teach that the wine that Jesus made at the wedding feast was grape juice. . . .

It was good old alcoholic-contented wine.

. . . and said to him, "Every man serves the good wine first, and when the people have drunk freely, then he serves the poorer wine; but you have kept the good wine until now.

Just a side note, the alcohol content back in that time, was very, very low, not even the equivalent of 3.2 beer. fwiw...

Granted, wine made poor tasting water go down better, but it had enough alcohol to get drunk:

Actually, wine ferments to the same proof as beer. Really doesn't need anything fancy to get it going.

And it will go to vinegar, home made or not, over time. Never stops fermenting.

So, yea, compared to hard liquor, it is very mild.

The bible warns women to not be taken to much wine espiecially the older women who should be examples to the younger .

It also tells us to give a little wine to those that are troubled of spirit and weary.

It most certaily contained alcohol and it seems everybody knew that a little was good.
Too much was not.
