I have been a Christian for the past 8 years, for about 4 years I was playing church. I wasn't convince that Life with Christ means a change totally until.. well God decides that no more playing. I am now much better I am now having a relationship with Christ. To cut a long story short of lately I've been down, past behaviours are constanly plaguing me abd the thought of going back is not an option. My question is how do I keep these pasts experiences in the past, I have spoken to God and I've repented but they wont go, what must I do?

That is one of the worst to deal with.

To get the world around you past them, you have to convince them you have changed. Not by words, but by actions.

To get your habits and such away from them, you have to 'reprogram' yourself. Learn new habits of action and thinking.

Not easy. Never has been and never will be.

Even moving to where there are nothing but new faces does not deal with you on you.

Hang tight and stay tough.
