I have a question about prayer. Some of you may know that I am new to the Christian faith, I am still learning. I signed up to have a mentor to help me study the bible, I was asked where I was in terms of prayer, and I dont know how to answer that question.

I basicly just talk to God about my day or concerns about my life or somone elses life or just the world in general.

Is there a right way and a wrong way to pray?

From your heart bro, from your heart, IMO God likes it when we pray openly in our own words.:):

I don't believe there's a right way, however one feels comfortable that's how they should express themselves to GOD. there are some persons that do what is call a ritual prayer but that doen't mean it's the right way. Jesus warns us 'not to use vain repititions as the heathen do' Matthew 6 read from verse 5. I believe that feeling comfortable before GOD is important as we are then able to express ourselves freely. Talk to HIM as you would talk to others generally, HE already knows, hope this helps.
