Let me start by saying that I suffer from an anxiety disorder , and OCD ( intrusive and unwanted thoughts)
So ..I am stuggling with my faith and I have a mind that tends to think about everything to the point of scaring myself.
I am asking for help here , all of the questions that i have asked before are things that I am just not understanding.
Now some of you say that if you have the holy spirit in you the Gospel will become clear , is that an immediate thing or is it a gradual process. I have a hard time reading and understanding the bible.
The biggest problem I have is with hell or eternal damnation, Why would a God of love and peace do that to a people he created, I mean if we chose to reject him why would he not just let us die and be returned to the ground, why damnation , None of us chose to be here so why the punishment.
I am trying hard to understand and want to live my life for Christ but I am really having a hard time with this part of it .
The hard part is my family , no one in my family is a believer , when I look around at the world it means that most are going to be banished into eternal damnation.
Also where in the bible does it say that once you have recieved Christ and salvation that you always have it , I thought I did at one time but over the last few weeks I have begun to question things.

Just take your time.
[QUOTE]Now some of you say that if you have the holy spirit in you the Gospel will become clear , is that an immediate thing or is it a gradual process. I have a hard time reading and understanding the bible.
There is an immediate feeling within.
But many do not understand the flesh is still 100% what it was before and the mind is heavily what it was before.
The spirit is changed immediately. But it takes time, learning, growth in faith and so on for it to 'filter' into the mind.
Most feel an inner peace, that was not there before, but often the confusions of the flesh and mind grow, at first.
It is hard to put into words. There is immediate change for the better than does not impact our whole being immediately.
The biggest problem I have is with hell or eternal damnation, Why would a God of love and peace do that to a people he created, I mean if we chose to reject him why would he not just let us die and be returned to the ground, why damnation , None of us chose to be here so why the punishment.
Because our life comes from God. God cannot destroy what is part of him.
Further, being our choice made, is it not punishment to not allow that decision to stand? It is one thing to punish actions, it is another to take away life completely.
No one truly wants to cease to exist.
I am trying hard to understand and want to live my life for Christ but I am really having a hard time with this part of it .
It is not God doing it to us. It is us doing it to ourselves.
God is allowing us to choose. But we are responsible for the consequences of what we choose.
It is not correct thinking to believe anyone will end up in the Lake who did not choose to be there.
No, one saying I do not want God but do not want the Lake is the same issue. Choosing God is choosing what kind of person we will be for eternity. The Lake or the New Earth are consequences of the choice. They are not the choice itself.
One cannot choose the consequences to their actions. They are inherent to the actions we choose.
The hard part is my family , no one in my family is a believer , when I look around at the world it means that most are going to be banished into eternal damnation.
True.
We live in the End Times when the world is running away from God in droves.
They know he is there more clearly than Man ever has. But they are rejecting him more than Man ever has.
Look at the Trib. At least 2/3 of Man reject God and die. The torment and suffering of the Trib is horrendous. But they just keep rejecting God for what happens, never looking at themselves.
Further, they turn on Christians and slaughter them.
While crying injustice about what God is sending upon them to make them choose him or Satan, they are pouring injustice onto saints.
It has always been that way. Those that reject God hate and do injustice to those that love him.
They will not give the mercy and other options they demand for themselves.
Also where in the bible does it say that once you have recieved Christ and salvation that you always have it , I thought I did at one time but over the last few weeks I have begun to question things.
Romans 8
1Therefore, there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus,[a (http://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=romans%208&version=31#fen-NIV-28103a)] 2because through Christ Jesus the law of the Spirit of life set me free from the law of sin and death.
As Paul said elsewhere in Romans, as well, Law condemns us to the Lake, but in repentence we are dead to the Law. It no longer has power over us.
If dead to the law there is nothing left to condemn us.
9You, however, are controlled not by the sinful nature but by the Spirit, if the Spirit of God lives in you. And if anyone does not have the Spirit of Christ, he does not belong to Christ. 10But if Christ is in you, your body is dead because of sin, yet your spirit is alive because of righteousness. 11And if the Spirit of him who raised Jesus from the dead is living in you, he who raised Christ from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through his Spirit, who lives in you.
The sinful flesh is still there and dead in sin. But now the Holy Spirit, within our spirits, is in control.
One day we will be freed from the struggles of the flesh when it is made like our spirits, clean.
28And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him,[j (http://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=romans%208&version=31#fen-NIV-28130j)] who[k (http://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=romans%208&version=31#fen-NIV-28130k)] have been called according to his purpose. 29For those God foreknew he also predestined to be conformed to the likeness of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brothers. 30And those he predestined, he also called; those he called, he also justified; those he justified, he also glorified.
Foreknew who would love him. Means he knew who would choose him in freewill.
Predestined means there is no doubt. Those who live and choose him will be taken all the way to glorification. Not some, but all.
38For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons,[m (http://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=romans%208&version=31#fen-NIV-28140m)] neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, 39neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
Nothing in all of creation can take our salvation from us.
I believe the Bible makes it very clear that if one is in danger of loosing it, because of the flesh, God will take their lives to save the spirits.
Once we repent, we belong to him. He will not loose what is his.
