View Full Version : Don't expect the police to protect you
If you are paying attention, you realize that you must prepare to defend yourself.
As a simple, practical matter, the police can't protect you. They're almost never there when a crime is being committed. They arrive on the scene only afterward.
That should be obvious. What's more shocking is that U.S. courts have decreed time and again that police have no legal obligation to protect you. Even if you've called 911, even if they've promised to send an officer, even if the police dispatcher has told you to take certain actions that end up leaving you vulnerable to the criminal—if you die or are savagely tormented at the hands of an attacker, the police take no responsibility, and the courts cover for them.
In 1989, the U.S. Supreme Court issued its landmark DeShaney decision. That judgment said that state and local governments are under no constitutional obligation to keep us from harm. This applies even when the government itself has put us in danger or failed to come to our aid when we "did everything right" and called 911.
It is normal, legal, and traditional, for the courts to deny that you have right to police protection—even at the same time your leaders urge you disarm and rely on 911 for your only defense against violence!
This is the fact: Legally and morally, you are your own first line of defense. If you wish to survive as a human being and a Jew in these terrifying times, you must accept that self-defense is not only an intelligent choice but a mitzvah (a good deed).

If you are paying attention, you realize that you must prepare to defend yourself.
Being a Christian, it is difficult to believe that people, made of the same composition of flesh, bone, and blood as ourselves, could be truly evil. We have a Heavenly Father who has filled us with basic goodness, but Jesus said that there are those "who are of the synagogue of Satan".
No sane individual would hesitate to defend himself from a rabid dog or a poisonous snake, but are the two-legged vipers of this world any better than an animal? An animal does that which comes naturally to him. Children of Satan do that which comes naturally to them: that being evil.
God never told us to let the evil in this world run over us like a train. He never told us to stand by idly as those whom he trusted to us are abused or killed. A Christian man who packs a gun does not look for trouble, and avoids it if at all possible. However, evil can seek you out.
A well-armed man operates from a position of strength. He is less likely to have to fight than an unarmed man. The predators in this world look for easy prey. God did not put his people on this Earth to be prey for the sons of Satan. God expects us to stand up for what is right, and he gives us the tools with which to do so. When you defend the life of one of God’s children, you are defending good against evil. Use your good sense and God’s word to avoid trouble. If necessary, use the gun at your side to stand against it.

Way to obviously true.
If we do not take some measures of self protection, then we are wide open to being victims.

Think really big:
What possible good news could there ever be about nuclear destruction coming to America, whether it is dirty bombs, terrorist nukes or ICBMs from afar?
In a word, they are all survivable for the vast majority of American families, if they know what to do beforehand and have made even the most modest preparations.
Tragically, though, most Americans today won't give much credence to this good news, much less seek out such vital life-saving instruction, as they have been jaded by our culture's pervasive myths of nuclear un-survivability.
In the meantime, though, don't wait around for the government to instruct and prepare your own family and community. Educate yourself today and begin establishing your own nuclear survival preparations by reading the free nuke prep primer What To Do If A Nuclear Disaster Is Imminent! (http://www.ki4u.com/guide.htm)
Then pass copies on to friends, neighbors, relatives, churches and even local news media – and to your local elected representatives – with a brief note attached saying simply:
We hope/pray we never need this, but just in case, read it now, and keep it close for later on!
You might also forward them a copy of this article to help spread the good news that's liberating American's from the deadly myths of nuclear un-survivability!

Invest a little time before the next disaster rolls around:
"Every Emergency Management official I've spoken with, both local and national, stated privately that three days supplies is not sufficient. I can understand their thinking. To tell people they need to prepare for longer looks like they're expecting trouble. They don't want people to panic, feel afraid. Understandable. But we are now dealing with bigger disasters, escalating terrorism and possibilities of a nuclear incident.
"If they think warning people in advance causes a few fear goosebumps, wait till they see millions of people scrambling in unison to grab the last supplies off shelves." — Dare To Prepare, page, 434.
Hurricane Katrina. . . besides vivid stories of countless lives obliterated, we clearly saw how important it is for the individual to prepare. Government failed on so many levels to take care of its citizenry. Politics aside, if you need a reminder, see these four articles picked at random. They should spur you into action:
