Been watching some shows about catastrophic events that may be coming soon, tonight they were talking about the great conveyor which is the ocean currants and how they flow north to the ice caps where the warm upper water cools and descends to the bottom which is what keeps the currents going. As the ice caps melt bunches of fresh water goes into the ocean making the salt water less dense thus messing up the flow so to speak. This in turn will make the weather change dramatically and real fast, most likely starting a ice age.
Scientist now say that the great conveyor is slowing down and there is a 50/50 chance it will stop in the next 50 years.
This whole process just started in recently.
The other show was about the huge volcano that lies under Yellowstone park, it is so large that if it erupts chances are the US will not survive. That volcano has erupted twice in the past and is over due to erupt again, just recently the ground rose at the north end of the big lake there so much it shifted the water to the south.
Scientist say they are just now starting to realize that things could change fast and get real bad fast, hmmmmm does that sound familiar(birth pains) they said it will be a domino affect.
All this plus what`s going on in the Middle East and other places with nukes and such and it`s not hard to believe our redemption draw`th near.
Can anyone say Rapture soon.

hummm if the ocean currents stop what would happen, would the winds stop?
I think it talks about that in Rev. and would'nt the oceans die?

Revelation talks about the something falling into the water and poisoning it, and some other things that kill sea life.

If the currents stopped, if that could happen, naturally, it would be very destructive to a lot of life. But, I believe, that would take years to have major impact.

i find it incredibly fasinating that there are so many scientific shows and documentaries speaking about the inevitability of so many natural disasters, and they all seem to be "on the horizon"..all the mega disasters prdicted by scientists on the discover channel are those very things prophecized about in revelations.

wouldn't it be incredible to send a copy of revelations (with help from biblical scholars) to all these scientists so they can have a link to their predicitions?? i think it would wake some people up and save more souls!!

it is so very fascinating however to see science PROVE the bible right....love that.

I love it too.

But it is interesting to see all the theories out there, some very wild eyed, as to why the Bible and they are not on the same page.

Amazing.
