The Atlanta paper, in its religion section, had asked a bunch of people their views on where you go and how you get there.

Almost none said a word about Hell.

As for Heaven, a generic statement was that you die, go to Heaven/Other Side and get judged by what did. Some get less and some get more. But the scales never seemed to tip to the negative.

Most saw it in an old Egyptian kind of view. Good one one side of the scales with bad on the other. The difference between is your 'reward.'

So easy to see the AC being a god in that kind of thinking.

Hi Core. Just wondering what you would have said? How much text space could they use?

I think I would have summed up my view by saying :

John 3:16 (New International Version)

16"For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son,[a] that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.

Footnotes:

John 3:16 Or his only begotten Son

They didn't give much space. A pic with a small text block.

I would have said:

God sets the rules, we follow, or not.

Either we repent by faith through grace in Christ, or we don't see Heaven.

God gave us his Son to pay for our sins. Up to us if we take him up on the offer or not.

Yours is a good one. Right to the point.
