my love has grown cold.
with all the stuff I've been thru trying to find my way, not stuffing my anger
etc. I have lost the ability to love others the way I should. (with the extended familys)
Please pray for me. I find too that I was being "conditional" with it too.
I dont like that.

The fact you feel this way means it is still there.

Do not worry. Directing Godly love towards others is inherently difficult. Such a behavior is most contrary to our sinful nature.
I confess that I struggle with showing Godly love as well. Even overt spiritual warfare seems easier for me.
So we struggle together!

It is hard.
In varying ways and degrees I believe all Christians are struggling today. We are so out of step with the world and where it is heading.

I've always been outta step.
no way around it though. people in power with no dicernment and hyposcrisy abound.
I feel much better now. and those who try to do Gods will are termed a child of the devil,
weird, demon possessed ect. and that by those who love to sit in church all the time.
apostates and make believers are everywhere. those who love to be 1st. and "in" with the church crowd.
what really gets me, is that they think society manners etc, are godliness.
never say anything negative might hurt someones feelings, but
will do it from the back in their actions themselves.
the "dont judge" which is so prevelent. but they have harsh judgements themselves and dont even make sure their judgement is correct. :faint:
its all so wearysome.

God tells us to love him more than our families. God is our father in heaven. He can be our substainer. We are to love one another, but its best if you feel this way to wait and see. Just be civil if you must be around them. Just wait and ask God what he wants you to do. You will know.
I will pray for you still.

I have to totaly stay away from them. I turn to who I was as a child,
subservent. I loose me.
I'm learning God is my substainer. I always knew it in my mind, but playing it out in real life was a whole another thing.
I was brainwashed with extreme guilt and fear.
and for some reason, maybe I'm just not strong enough yet,
I somehow bite that hook when I'm around them.
a very cold ruthless bunch who appear very different....
