Have you noticed how the word "Fundamentalist" is a bad word now, even among fellow Christians?

Uh-oh!!!

You guys feel like we're being singled out? No, a better word would be... ostracized. Kicked out... shown to the door?

Yea. It has become a bad name.

What it means, like orthodox, applies to us.

Yet, Orthodox now summons up the Eastern Catholic image.

Unfortunately, many of those using fundamentalist do not represent me in the least. They are legalists, have some very bad doctrine and often are very hard hearted.

I would like to get both terms back to proper usage. But just isn't going to happen.

Really, look what has happened to the meaning of 'Christian!'

Point taken, Core. I consider myself to be a fundamentalist, but the true meaning of the word fundamentalist. I am not like Fred Phelps, or his flock of hate-filled pariahs. They are called fundamentalist, and because we are fundies, we're lumped into the same lot. Phelps and his ilk are cult...they are not fundamentalists.

Keep watching... more and more articles and editorials will appear talking about those crazy fundamentalists.

Praise God, and thank God I see the truth!!!!

Jerry Falwell, Jimmy Swaggert, Pat Robertson and so on are fundamentalists.
