getting rid of bugs!

I planted some zucchinni and cucumber plants and something is eating the leaves.

anyone got some suggestions of what to use to make this stop????

Don`t they make a powder that ya sprinkle over the plants that kills them. :):

I don't know if it works on those. But, for tatters, we use to put powered lime in a sack and shake it on.

No poison, bugs hated it and when washed off was good for the soil.

Checked with MIL, she`s a big gardner. She said wood ash sprinkled over the plants or mix a little Tabasco sauce with water and spray the leaves.
Other than that it`s the garden center and chemicals.

Lowes, or a hardware store should have some things you can purchase to help. Unless of course you want to go out there and pick all the bugs off. That can be a pain. lol

Check your local plant store also.
