It isn't Christians who say that their way is the right way, it is Jesus who said it...and we believe it and show the way to others. Jesus said He was the only way to get to Heaven, the only truth, and the only light. We believe He is what He says He is, and He is who He says He is. If Jesus says that He is the only way to Heaven, and that you can't get to Heaven without Him, then it is the truth.

If you don't believe that, then it isn't us you don't believe, it's Jesus you don't believe, and are therefore rejecting Him, and essentially calling Him a liar. He is the Son of God. He is Lord. He is the only way to Heaven.

You say you have found the way? Exactly what way would that be?

Also, can you name another God that made Himself flesh, died on a cross for our sins, was buried, resurrected, and is alive in Heaven awaiting to come back to get those that believe in Him .

As regards other religions, your implication is they are all correct. Which is impossible.

God does not say, "Just believe in me in any way you want, and that is good enough."

In Buddhism, there is no god.

In Christianity, there is the Triune God Chrystal speaks so truthfully about. A just God who will save through grace, since we cannot do a thing to save ourselves, and who will condemn those who reject him.

In Islam, they deny the Trinity and have an arbitrary god who says you have to earn your way to Heaven. You have to do things that please me to the point I decide to keep you around. And then you get your own Paradise to live in and rule.

In Paganism, there are all kinds of gods on all kinds of power levels. They lay down basic rules, you follow, you die, and then you go to another earth level and live there a lot like you did here.

In another, all go to the Underworld, where you live in different degrees of pain and pleasure, according to how you lived in life.

In another, you just cease to exist at death.

In another, you cease to exist at death, but if god deems you okay, he will recreate you.

In another, you have to perform rituals on certain dates and do certain things at certain times to earn god's acceptance.

There is little to no resemblance between different religions. Often, the demands of salvation and condemnation are in direct 180 opposition, meaning what saves in one condemns in another.

Saying god says believe what you want as a long as you believe in something is appeasing the person's desires, not God's. He sets the rules, we do not. It is creating a god in the image of the person doing the creating.

Simple logically thinking about this will tell you that only the one true God is right and the rest are false gods. So you need to seek what he wants and not what you want.

Powerful point.

No other God can actually be historically found living among us.

Quote: "I was wondering if you could tell me why christians think that their way is the right way."

We do not think, we know. Our evidence of this is our faith. Faith is the evidence of things not seen. God wrote the book on Truth. He sent his son Jesus to die for our sins. We are not going to do better than that. The holy spirit is in our hearts, and shows us in our lives, and hearts, minds that he is real.

God is love, and you can let him in your heart and accept him and see and feel the truth, or reject him, but do not reject him for long, he stops knocking at your heart, and it might be to late someday.

Methinks your post is "hit and run" Interfaith rhetoric. You pose questions, yet you do not remain present for answers. Such posting tactics are intellectually dishonest.

I am surprised that "I don't know" still "hangs around." In light of this, let me provide another answer.

 :hmm: My answer depends on the nature of your question. What do you accept as "valid reasoning" or "valid evidence"?

what other religion has a God who paid for your sin?
who gives?

where genuine Christianity is things in the physical are much better.
putting off of anger, and all sorts of wickedness. and to put on and walk in
good things... We can list them out!

do you find this in other religions?

we serve a living God, not a god made of our own hands,
seriously how can man make his own god?

I've NEVER ever found a lie in the word of God.

thats a biggie with me. I dont like lieing. for many reasons.
it destroys others and self.

your last sentance, "I have found the way"
what do you mean by that?
