I saw two news articles and a couple of comments in the local paper that says it all, when you think it through.
In China, the government is selling land to developers. Of course, that would include American investors.
How do they get the land? By marching in, throwing the owners out and taking it. No new homes, no compensation and often no warning. Summer or winter. Just out and on their own.
Fruit and other farmers are having trouble getting Mexican workers. They get across the boarder and vanish. Taking better paying jobs at lower wages than the legit Americans they displace.
Farmers answer? Just keep bringing in more Mexicans until they get the crops picked.
Where is the morality? They lie and say they cannot get anyone willing to work at any price. Which means at any price they are willing to pay.
Americans turn a blind eye to get it cheaper. Rich don't care, because they make more money with suppressed labor. Middle Class does not understand they are loosing jobs and wages because of their perceived savings.
One show said that today's wages, adjusted for inflation, are the same as 1972. Meaning people are shopping today using 1969 wages.
And I believe it. I remember labor getting $5.00/hr in the early 60s. Today, they get about the same because of the illegals.
All this greed is actually hurting every one, excpet the rich.
