IDF officials told their Palestinian counterparts at the Jericho District Coordination Office (DCO) on Monday to clear out their offices by the afternoon as part of Israel's decision to cut all ties with the Palestinian Authority following Hamas's rise to power.

The decision was made following the government's resolution to reinforce its measures against the new Hamas-led Palestinian government, declaring it a "hostile entity" and ruling out contacts, including peace talks with Palestinian Chairman Mahmoud Abbas.
"It is important to note that all civilian functions of the civil administration will be unaffected by the change, which pertains to security coordination alone," said an IDF spokesperson.
