You will have to ask diana about that. I'm kinda like adam. I eat what ever she gives me.
Forbidden fruit gumbo? Sure, honey. It's the best I ever ate.

TLIR that reminds me of the the guy on american idol.
he sings country and he said he could'nt read the menus there,
where he comes from mashed potatoes where mashed potatoes,
chicken was chicken etc... I dont think he understood the names of the foods
so he did'nt know what he was getting... it was funny ;)

whats a fruit gumbo? interesting!

I had to work at a concert/party as a fundraising event for work. The staff got to eat the dinner. I had for appetizer bree cheese with grape and cracker ,then dinner was stuffed cabbage, greenbeans + carrots, mushroom peroigee (spelling?), little white pototoes, for dessert strawberries, some random bites from the sweet table. It was yummy.

That was a poor attempt at being funny while referring to when Eve gave the forbidden fruit to Adam.

I'm allergic to shrimp. :(

I'm gonna have to stay away from Mexican Food. It tears me up so bad. It's a shame too, because it's my favorite food. I'm paying for it today, too.

IBS. :yuck:

Chrystal, so sorry about the shrimp - I love them as well, I'd be so sad if I had to stay away from them. As for the Mexican, I am on a low carb diet and fajitas are a perfect meal (minus the tortilla), I eat them right off the "sizzling" plate..... YUMMY! Hubby however, likes burritos and stuff really really spicy, which I try to stay away from. Hope your body gets to feeling back to normal soon!

Thank you, PrayzHim. I am feeling better. I was so swolen for the past couple of days that my Dad looked at me and said...."GOSH!!!" I looked pregnant, and he looked at me like this ---> :freak: It was extremely painful. But now, all is well.

Mexican food is my favorite food. It eats me alive when I eat it. I know what I'm gonna get when I eat it, but still, I eat it anyway.

Everytime it hurts me, I say I'm gonna stay away from it. But then when the pain leaves, I go right back to eating it. TEMPTATION!!! :tsk: I'm so weak.

Crystal I sure am knowing what you mean by not being able to eat certain things.
I used to be able to eat anything and it did'nt bother me, not anymore....

Brandi, I saw your beef stew recipe and I want to try it,
I was just thinking the other day of finding a beef stew recipe,
I'm always making chicken stew(soup) and my husband hates chicken.
I make him something else, when I make my soup.

so I'm gonna try it!

PrayzHim
04-03-2006, 07:27 AM
Yes tempura is good, however, not allowed on most diets - including mine. I remember as a kid we used to have a "tempura night", boy was that fun!

Chrystal, what's tope?

Chrystalwuzhere
04-03-2006, 07:40 AM
Tope is a shark-looking fish. Kinda strong, with a mildewy type taste, but good.

PrayzHim
04-03-2006, 03:45 PM

Brandli5

Fish is good. I love it steamed. I have lost 30 pounds thus far eating fish, and salads. Walking alot helps too. I have a few more to go, but I know I will do it.

PrayzHim
04-04-2006, 03:48 PM
Wow 30 pounds, good for you! Keep it up!! We have actually been following the Southbeach diet for a couple years. I initially lost quite a bit of weight but put most of it back on. We are now beginning to bike ride (trying for daily), it's better than the bike at the gym, and WAY more fun! Keep working at it!!!

Veal cutlets, baked potato, baked assorted vegetables, good bread, a piece of Parmesan cheese, and one glass of wine.
Desert= Fruit salad, dark chocolate, and a glass of wine.
All prepared by one extraordinary wife.

and blessed by the Lord of all,

(Exo 23:25 NASB) "But you shall serve the LORD your God, and He will bless your bread and your water; and I will remove sickness from your midst.

Micky D's is a place I like, but I cannot visit often. I like breakfast there, and the rest I do not care for. (Except the icecream) lol.

Rice, chicken tenders, greenbeans. ;)
