Russia and Iran have signed an agreement for Moscow to supply fuel to Iran's new nuclear reactor in Bushehr.
Under the deal Iran has to return spent nuclear fuel rods from the reactor, which was designed and built by Russia.
The clause is a safeguard meant to banish fears that Iran might misuse the rods to build nuclear weapons, a concern of the US, Israel and others.
The agreement sets out a time-frame for delivery of the fuel, but officials said the dates would be kept secret.
The BBC's Frances Harrison in Tehran says the deal is significant because Bushehr will be Iran's first reactor to go on stream - a project that has become an issue of national prestige in the face of intense US opposition.
The signing, which had been expected on Saturday, was apparently delayed over disagreements about when the spent fuel should be returned.
Russia had been insisting that no spent fuel should be diverted for the manufacture of weapons.
Iran has repeatedly said its nuclear programme is solely for the generation of power.

Russia, Iran agree in principle on enriching uranium in Russia
MOSCOW — Iran's nuclear chief said Sunday that Moscow (javascript:siteSearch('Moscow');) and Tehran (javascript:siteSearch('Tehran');) had agreed in principle to set up a joint uranium enrichment venture, Russian news reports said.
Gholamreza Aghazadeh, who heads Iran's Atomic Energy Organization of Iran (javascript:siteSearch('Atomic Energy Organization of Iran');), said the two nations had agreed in principle on Moscow's proposal to enrich Iranian uranium in Russia, the ITAR-Tass and Interfax news agencies reported.
Previous talks on the Moscow offer, backed by the United States and the European Union, brought no visible breakthrough.

Enriching uranium? Hmmmm...wonder what they could possibly use that for?
Israel's not going to like this.
And Russia has got to be daft! They're helping Iran? Allying themselves with Iran? What on earth?
Prophetic significance here.

My mother was just commenting how the U.S. would not invade Russia like these little Muslim nations. I told her that according to Bible prophecy, they'll be shaking their tail feathers during the Trib, so they're not going anywhere. Not right now, anyways.
And Russia has got to be daft! They're helping Iran? Allying themselves with Iran? What on earth?
Prophetic significance here.
Let's extend the lines of where this is going:
Israel [or the US] smart bombs the Iran Nuclear Bomb making program back to the stone age.
. . . Russia sees this as an attack against an ally, mobilizes against Israel.
. . . Gog & Magog: Ezekiel 38

I don't think Ezekiel 38 is until Mid. As do many others.
How about this scenario.
The bomb threat is so grievous to the EU they speed up their unification and under the leadership of the AC they take down the Iranian facility as part of the peace treaty.
This engrages Iran and Russia takes advantage of it to buiild a military coalition that invades at Mid, Ezekiel 38.
And triggers the many pre Mid wars between the AC and Middle East countries we see in Daniel.

There's only one minor problem with that, though...Israel has said they will NOT let Iran build a nuclear program.
So the next step is to see what Israel is going to do with this. What they do next will show us the picture more clearly.
Hurry up and wait. :aah:

What problem?
It is the push that gets EU into the Middle East to stop Israel from bombing.
Plus, the leadership of Iran says they are going to blow away ALL non Islamic nations to usher in their End Times scenario.
The EU is at major risk here. As much as Israel.

Interesting. Prophecy doesn't always give us all the little pieces that lead up to the big puzzle.
As for Iran, I believe their President would welcome, or maybe try to start all out world war. He is obsessed with ushering in his messiah...the 12th imam. With a nut like that as a President, these coming days are going to be EXTREMELY interesting. Also, keep in mind that the mosque that was destroyed in Iraq last week held the bodies of the father and grandfather of the 12th imam. Interesting that would happen now...huh?
I'm watching, and I'm not gonna so much as blink.

No. The problem lies in making Ezekiel 38 at the beginning of the Trib.
This is the condition of Israel at Mid. Most assuredly not Israel now.
You will say, "I will invade a land of unwalled villages; I will attack a peaceful and unsuspecting people—all of them living without walls and without gates and bars.

Out of this all will somehow come the prophecy where Iraq is laid total waste to not be dwelt in again.
What ever that happening will be.

See, this is the part I just don't understand. This says that Israel will be a land of unwalled villages, yet, they're building separation walls now. What gives with that? How can they be building walls when scripture clearly shows in the above passage that it will be unwalled?
And they are far from peaceful and unsuspecting.... and they have walls and gates and bars.

Because they have been under the EU peace treaty for 3.5 years. They have had the Two Witnesses present for 3.5 years.
They will have abandoned their weapons and opened or tore down walls.
Their egos blind them to reality. They believe they are beyond harm then.
Now way can this be Pre-Trib/Pre-Treaty.

So you're saying that with the AC treaty, they will tear down those walls?

During the time of the Two Witnesses even the Temple Outer court is walked on by Gentiles.
So, sure seems like for that to be true the part of the Treaty is Israel will give access, which means no closed gates or walls.
Makes sense.
How about this?

It just occurred to me... that place over there is getting ready to explode in violence. A violence so horrible that AC's treaty will make him look like the world's most brilliant man and savior.
The pot is simmering.
