Kenneth Copeland preaches that Jesus' death on the cross was not enough to complete the work of redemption. He teaches that Jesus went to Hell, and for three days was tortured by Satan and his demons, and then Jesus became "born again" and then He rose from the dead.

Jesus' death on the cross was not sufficient for salvation according to Copeland....

Damnable heresy? :grr: I'd say so!

There must of been two in hell then because Jesus told the one next to Him he would be where He would be that day.

Yep. Paradise and Hell are both off the Pit. Paradise held the OT saints and Hell the OT lost. As well as the the rest of the lost until the end of time.

Two went to Paradise off the crosses. One went to Hell.

Yep....but Copeland teaches that Jesus went to Hell (the part where there is suffering and punishment), and that He was tortured for three days (even sodomized by demons)... and then He got saved (born again), and then was raised from the dead. They state the work of redemption was not complete on the cross. Christ had to suffer in Hell and be born again first. Then it was finished.

He also teaches that Satan and his demons are the lords over Hell. That it's their domain. They rule it. They run it.

I have no clue. They're so arrogant, they're making up doctrines. But I believe to my soul that teaching that Jesus' death on the cross was not enough to save us is a damnable heresy.

Nope...I was wrong, and need to correct something I posted above. Copeland doesn't teach that Jesus was sodomized by demons, he teaches that Jesus was gang raped and sodomized by Roman soldiers while He was in prison waiting to stand trial.

Here is a direct quote from Kenneth Copeland...

Jesus was raped by homosexual Roman soldiers everyway possible
"Let me tell you something folks. Anybody in here that's ever been sexually abused, listen to me right now. Listen to me very carefully. The bible's very careful about the way it says these things. But down there in that dungeon, Romans, ungodly men, ungodly men, put him (Jesus) to every kind of abuse that you can think of. There is no sin that Jesus didn't bare. There is no thing, there is no such thing as a sexual abuse on somebody that Jesus doesn't know firsthand what it's all about. He's been where you are, I don't care what you've been through, Jesus has been through it. And everything's done to him that we we couldn't even speak of."

copeland runs from one speculation to another.

not biblical at all.

A better question is how could he be born-again if he spiritually died?

If he became sinful with our sin then he could never have left Hell.
