Dad needs prayer

Hello everyone, ITW invited me over here. My dad was recently told he had cancer, three weeks ago he found a lump, the same day he went to the doctor and two days later they removed the lump. Since then it has been a emotional roller coster, He has a very aggressive type of lymphoma that has already spread to his bones and brain. Needless to say this has been hard on him and the whole family, he still feels fine and does not under stand how he can be so sick yet still feel so good. The doctor has told him that with out chemo he has only a few months, but with chemo he could last a year. He is thinking about not doing the chemo at all. Please keep my dad in your prayers, I know God can do anything.

Thank you so much for all the prayers, and my dad says "Thanks". Wensday we are going fishing all day, we have been doing alot of things he enjoys while he still can before he gets to sick. One of his favorite things to do is fish and we have been doing alot of it. But Wensday we are going to a little lake down south that is known for its trophy bass, he has never caught one over 8 lbs. and I have caught several over ten in this lake, so wish us luck.

Hey guys and gals, sorry I have not been on in awhile, and sorry to bother you again, but my family is in need of some heavy duty prayer. As you know, my Dad has cancer and I have been spending alot of time at home with him and helping out with the buisness, but the stress on my mom has been horrable, well monday she had a heart attack and has been in the hospital all week. We got her home today and she is doing well, but the doctor says she can't take the stress, and there is nothing I can do about it. So if you don't mind, add my mom to your prayers also. Thanks

Thank you so much for all of your prayers...they mean so much to me and my family...
My mom is doing very well...I live about two hours from them, so I have been going up several times a week to run thier buis. they have a ranch and a small trucking company which my dad has always ran. My dad has been doing very well with the chemo (he wouldn't admit he was sick no matter what) but lately it has really been getting to him. But tuesday of next week if he feels up to it we are going fishing again for a two day trip. Here are two pics of my dad on one of our fishing trips. First one is him just fishing and the second one is of him driving my boat. Thanks ITW for telling me about this forum. And for keeping all here updated. Don Kelley

Thanks for the update & the pics. He looks like he's enjoying himself at least & that is good. I didn't realize he was doing chemo. Please do keep us updated from time to time. Still praying for both your dad & your mom; you and your whole family.....:pray:
