Sometimes liberals are thought to be Christians who have backslidden; people who don't have enough faith, or are too "in the world." Liberal Christianity, however, is not a watered-down version of "true orthodoxy." Rather, it is a way of approaching God, Jesus, the Bible and salvation from a stand-point grounded in experience and reason. It is an honest approach to understanding the Christian faith, and its place in an ever changing world. Most of the world's greatest and most influencial theologians are liberals. Many of your neighbors go to liberal churches. But what is a liberal Christian exactly? What do they believe? What don't they believe? Here is a short article on some of the finer points of liberalism.

Unfortunately this statement contains many truths. Most denominations now are Liberal Christianity, ranging from dangerous to full cult status.

"Its a way of approaching God that will cause you to end up in Hell." should be the clarifying statement.

You dont come to God on your own terms and understanding. You come to Him thru what the Bible has to say, literally. Not liberally.

The word of God is the word of God.
Liberals are watering down and totaling refuteing things that are truths that lead you to Christ.
It was a bummer of an artical for me to read what some are promoting.

The Word of God has lost all meaning to these groups because they have "liberated" it from its actual meaning. So to them the Word is no longer the Word. Its their word.
