The Gospel of Thomas contradicts the Word of God with unscriptural teachings:

Verse 12 - Jesus said to them, "No matter where you are you are to go to James the Just, for whose sake heaven and earth came into being."
Colossians 1:16
For by him all things were created: things in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or powers or rulers or authorities; all things were created by him and for him.

Verse 13 - Jesus said, "I am not your teacher. Because you have drunk, you have become intoxicated from the bubbling spring that I have tended."
Matthew 23
8 "But you are not to be called 'Rabbi,' for you have only one Master and you are all brothers. 9 And do not call anyone on earth 'father,' for you have one Father, and he is in heaven. 10 Nor are you to be called 'teacher,' for you have one Teacher, the Christ.

Clearly the Gospel of Thomas is not a reliable document and it is surely not not part of Scripture.
