During the Trib. the Lord is gonna call, save, and seal 12,000 out of each of the 12 tribes of Israel. What will be their purpose? That is, what role will they fulfill during the Trib?

I always thought they would be 144,000 little Billy`s preaching the word but i have a feeling i`m going to be corrected.
 Yep. You are right... about being corrected.
The 144,000 preachers is a totally non Biblical assumption. Pure assumption without a grain of evidence to support it.
The key preachers for the first half of the Trib are the Two Witnesses. Not one peep of any others of note in the Bible.
The 144,000 are part of the Woman who are saved Jews. And it quite literally and without any ability to question states they go into the mountains and wilderness to a place of safety prepared for them. They stay there for the full 3.5 years of the Great Trib.
You hear of them at Mid and not again until the Second Coming where they are on Mount Zion with Christ when Christ calls them to him. It is not speaking of them as dead and martyred in Heaven as you hear some attempt to claim.
If dead they are not protected or sealed away for 3.5 years as John says they will be.
The idea that they are sealed, protected and wandering the earth preaching violates what John prophecies. He states they are seal away from the world for 3.5 years. They are the Woman.
Now, as the their purpose. They are called First Fruits. Which means the first of a new crop.
The First Fruits of the Church were the Apostles and some of the very first born-again.
The 144,000 are the First Fruits of the MK and the first to be appointed to and take up the key roles of the functions of Israel in the New Covenant of the MK. Christ's first priests, flesh rulers, administrators, builders, teachers and so on to pick up the the new role of Israel and the restored functions of each Tribe of Israel.
As in the OT each Tribe has distinct God appointed duties. Thus 12 divisions of Israel with 12 key divisions of jobs and duties. And the first of the those in the MK with those jobs and duties.
I know the 144,000 evangelists is a popular belief. But as with the Four Living Beings being the Four Gospels, the 24 Elders being Church and so it is foundationless.

Did i miss something, where are they for the first 3 1/2 years of the trib?
Learning.
They are virgins and other keys words showing they are young.
None of them can be saved before the Rapture. So they are Jews learning from the Two Witnesses and such.
No way they are out their preaching.
Remember at the Rapture zero saints are left on the earth except the Two.

What mission will the 144,000 Jewish men fulfill during the Tribulation? Book 11 LESSON THREE * PART IV So we know we are at the mid-point of the Tribulation. Remember I told you rather than go verse by verse chronologically, take Revelation by events. The beginning (the appearance of the Anti-christ and these two witnesses), and at the mid-point we have the end of these two witnesses and have a great earthquake. We studied earlier how the Anti-christ will come in and desecrate and defile the Temple at the mid-point. We will try to look at that in our next lesson. But for now let's look at Revelation Chapter 7. And here again is a portion of Scripture that has been so completely perverted that we have a lot of confusion and it doesn't have to be. It is so plain. Now since these two witnesses are beginning to proclaim Godly things, and I think again just like Jesus said, they are going to be proclaiming the King and the Kingdom is coming. Out of their preaching, almost immediately, they will have a response of their prophesying or speaking, by the 144,000 young Jewish men that we find in Chapter 7. Now let's read it:
Revelation 7:1
"And after these things I saw four angels standing on the four corners of the earth (remember this is supernatural experiences in a supernatural time), holding the four winds of the earth, that the wind should not blow on the earth, nor on the sea, nor on any tree."
Revelation 7:2,3
"And I saw another angel ascending from the east, having the seal of the living God: and he cried with a loud voice to the four angels, to whom it was given to hurt (or judgment on) the earth and the sea, Saying, `Hurt not the earth, neither the sea, nor the trees, till we have sealed the servants of our God in their foreheads.'"
Now isn't that easy to understand? These servants, I feel, have been listening to the two witnesses and so they are responding. Now look who they are in verse 4:
Revelation 7:4
"And I heard the number of them which were sealed (or designated or commissioned): and there were sealed an hundred and forty and four thousand (now watch where they come from) of all the tribes of the children of Israel."
So that there are no mistakes, He names them in verse 5-8 except for one. And that question comes up often. Why isn't Dan and Ephraim mentioned in these 12 tribes? Remember, they moved up into the northern part of Israel, and what were the tribes guilty of? They were the first ones to go into idolatry. And, consequently, they are left out of these 12 tribes. So we have 12,000 from each of the other 12 tribes all sealed and they are given a particular mission. And here it comes in verse 9. As a result of their sealing:
Revelation 7:9
"After this I beheld, and, lo, a great multitude, which no man could number, of all nations (that indicates that the 144,000 will not limit their ministry to just the Nation of Israel), and kindreds, and people, and tongues, stood before the throne, and before the Lamb, clothed with white robes, and palms in their hands;"
Now remember back in Chapter 6 when we talked about that 5th seal, in verse 9-11 it reads:
Revelation 6:9-11
"And when he had opened the fifth seal, I saw under the altar the souls of them that were slain for the word of God, and for the testimony which they held: And they cried with a loud voice, saying, `How long, O Lord, holy and true, dost thou not judge and avenge our blood on them that dwell on the earth?' And white robes were given unto every one of them; and it was said unto them, that they should rest yet for a little season, until their fellowservants also and their brethren, that should be killed as they were, should be fulfilled."
This is where it all begins. These 144,000 young Jewish men will be encircling the globe in a miraculous way. They won't have to buy any airline tickets. I think they will be Spirit sent. They won't have to learn a language. They will know every language and dialect everywhere they go. And these 144,000 young Jews will circle the globe at least three or four years out of this seven. And here are the results of their ministry. Verse 13:
Revelation 7:13,14
"And one of the elders answered, saying unto me, `What are these which are arrayed in white robes? and whence came they?' And I said unto him, `Sir, thou knowest,' And he said to me, `These are they which came out of great tribulation, and have washed their robes, and made them white in the blood of the Lamb."
Now that is a vast number of people from every tribe and tongue and nation. And they will martyred almost as soon as they believe. But a few will survive. And we will pick them up in a later lesson. There will be some survivors, as we saw in the Book if Isaiah a couple of lessons ago. What I think we have here is sort of a compensation, or an evening out of what the Nation of Israel literally missed. They were originally going to be the vehicle to bring the pagan, Gentile world to a knowledge of their Jehovah. And they missed it. But the 144,000 will sort of make a compensation for that.
Book 12 LESSON ONE * PART I
ANTI-CHRIST - "FALSE PROPHET"
Turn to Revelation 7. The Book of Revelation primarily deals with those final seven years before the return of Christ at His Second Coming; then the setting up of His Kingdom upon the earth. This seven years is primarily God dealing with the Nation of Israel; however, all the world will become involved. Remember Jeremiah 30:7?
Jeremiah 30:7
"Alas! for that day is great, so that none is like it: it is even the time of Jacob's trouble; but he shall be saved out of it."
We'll look at this verse more in detail later. It's God dealing with His Covenant people and for this reason they are still coming back to their homeland, getting ready for these final seven years.
The best way to study Revelation is not to try to take it chronologically, but find the events at the beginning, at the middle, and at the end of the Tribulation, and then fill in the gaps. Chronologically it won't make all that much sense to you. The past several lessons we have been looking at things at the beginning. 1. The appearance of the Anti-christ when he will sign that seven-year peace treaty with the Nation of Israel, which will again kick God's time clock back in gear, as it has been stopped now all during the Church Age. 2. The appearance of those two witnesses. They will come to the Nation of Israel in Jerusalem. And they will begin proclaiming God's Word to the Nation of Israel, and out of the ministry of these two... 3. God is going to seal and commission the 144,000 young Jewish men whom God will use to circumvent the globe. They won't be preaching the Gospel of Grace as we know it, but, rather, they will be reverting back again to the Gospel of the Kingdom as it was being proclaimed at the time of Christ and Peter and the eleven.
There is a vast difference between the Gospel of Grace and the Gospel of the Kingdom. When you understand that, the Bible is much less confusing. At that time, the Age of Grace has ended and the Church is gone. A person will no longer have the opportunity to join a local congregation. But rather these 144,000 will be telling the world that the King is coming. After all, that was the message in Christ's earthly ministry. He Himself referred to it more than once as the Gospel of the Kingdom. The King and His Kingdom were about to come on the scene. Of course Israel rejected that, and the King was crucified. God raised Him from the dead, called Him back to heaven to sit at the Father's right hand until His enemies should be made His footstool. That `until' signifies the time when He will once again deal with His Covenant people of Israel.
We closed our last lesson with God sealing the 144,000 Jews (there were 12,000 from each of the twelve tribes). Remember, the reason that God set aside the Nation of Israel was to fulfill the promises of Genesis 3:15, that the Seed of the woman would come to be the Redeemer of mankind. In order to bring that to a fulfillment, He set aside the Nation of Israel, and promised Abraham that through that Nation of people would come the Messiah. So God begins to prepare the Nation of Israel for the roll of being the missionary to the nations. Exodus 19:6 says, "And ye shall be unto me a Kingdom of Priests and an holy nation." He put them under Law, I maintain, to prepare them for that tremendous role that would be theirs to carry out. But when the opportunity came and they could have had the King and the Kingdom, and they could have brought all the nations of the world to a knowledge of their God, they dropped the ball. In their unbelief they rejected the King and the Kingdom. They, in turn, were dispersed out into the world, lost their temple and worship, and God turned to the Gentiles through the Apostle Paul without using the Nation of Israel. Using that same analogy in order to get a sweet taste of some sort of a redeeming of themselves, God will let these 144,000 Jews at least get a taste of what the Nation of Israel missed. This 144,000 will see a multitude come to a knowledge of salvation through their ministry. Now verse 9:
Revelation 7:9,10
"After this I beheld, and, lo, a great multitude, which no man could number, of all nations, and kindreds, and people, and tongues, stood before throne, and before the Lamb, clothed with white robes, and palms in their hands; And cried with a loud voice, saying, `Salvation to our God which sitteth upon the throne, and unto the Lamb,'" In other words they had been martyred almost as fast as they had been converted throughout the Tribulation. Now verses 13 and 14. And after John sees this multitude of converted people.
Revelation 7:13,14
"And one of the elders answered, saying unto me, `What are these which are arrayed in white robes? and whence came they?' And I said unto him, `Sir, thou knowest.' And he said to me, `These are they which came out of (the) great tribulation, and have washed their robes, and made them white in the blood of the Lamb.'"
Book 13 LESSON TWO * PART IV
Revelation 7:3
"Saying, Hurt not the earth, neither the sea, nor the trees, till we have sealed the servants of our God in their foreheads."
That was like, I suppose, when God put a mark on Cain, that no one could take his life. And it's the same way with these 144,000. They were sealed so that they could not be killed. Suffer, yes, but they couldn't be killed. Reading on you will see that there were 12,000 sealed from each of the twelve tribes. To see how all of this fits with Matthew Chapter 25 come down to verse 16. These are the privations that Tribulation believers, as well as the 144,000, will suffer during this seven-year period.
Revelation 7:16
"They shall hunger no more, neither thirst any more;..."
Remember, if people don't take the mark of the beast during this time, they won't be able to buy or sell, and seven years is a long time if you can't buy groceries. Seven years is a long time if you can't make a house payment, buy gasoline, or pay a doctor bill. So they will end up hungry and thirsty, and naked. Come back to Matthew Chapter 25. So the 144,000 suffered these same privations during the Tribulation. They were thrown in prison and they're going to be hungry, and the only sustenance they had was from these believers. These believers, although they will have little to spare, will sacrifice to help these 144,000.

This view seems to support your opinion..
144,000-Who and Why
Will there only be 144,000 who enter the kingdom of heaven? The Bible doesn't teach this. A careful examination of the Scriptures reveals this has nothing to do with the number of people who will be saved.
The 144,000 are mentioned in two places in the book of Revelation. In Revelation 7:1-8, they are sealed by God for protection during the Tribulation. Rev. 14:1-5 is a prophetic vision of them standing triumphantly with the Lamb on Mount Zion in Jerusalem at the beginning of the millennial reign. If Rev. 14:1-5 were speaking of the number of people saved (which it isn't), it would exclude all women and anyone who has had sex because they "have not been defiled with women, for they have kept themselves chaste" (Rev. 14:4).
Who are the 144,000?
Revelation 7:4-8 tells us exactly who they are. They are 144,000 Jews-12,000 from each of the twelve tribes of Israel. Although some have taught the tribes have been "lost" God knows where they are. As a matter of fact, long after the tribes were supposedly lost, James wrote of letter to them. "James, a bond-servant of God and of the Lord Jesus Christ, to the twelve tribes who are dispersed abroad, greetings." (James 1:1) These are 144,000 Jews who will be converted to Jesus after the Rapture of the Church. The apostle Paul tells us "a partial hardening has happened to Israel until the fullness of the Gentiles has come in; and thus all Israel will be saved…" (Rom. 11:25-26). After the Rapture, the ministry of the gospel will be handed back to believing Israel, those Jewish people who receive Jesus as their Messiah just prior to the Second Coming.
Why are they important?
Jesus told His disciples, "Truly I say to you, that you who have followed Me, in the regeneration when the Son of Man will sit on His glorious throne, you also shall sit upon twelve thrones, judging the twelve tribes of Israel" (Matt. 19:2http://www.christiantalkzone.net/archive/images/smiles/icon_cool.gif.
· The "regeneration" is the Millennium, when Jesus rules on earth from Jerusalem (Zion) and the earth is repopulated. (See other studies, "Who Will Populate the Millennium?" and "The Millennium")
· "His glorious throne"(Matt. 19:28, 25:31) always refers to the reign of Jesus on earth in the Millennium. This is not to be confused with "the great white throne" mentioned in Rev. 20:11, which occurs after the Millennium.
· The "twelve thrones" are reserved for the twelve apostles (minus Judas), replaced by either Matthias (Acts 1:26) or Paul.
· But where do the "twelve tribes" come from? They are the 144,000 who are protected throughout the Tribulation until Jesus returns to earth. This is why God chooses them:
1. To inherit the land promised to them
2. To help re-populate the earth. Could it be they are virgins (Rev. 14:4) because the re-population of the earth will begin with them?
Israel will inherit the land
Israel has never received all the land promised to them (Ex. 23:31, Numbers 34:3-12, Deut. 11:24, Joshua 1:4). However, after Jesus returns to earth and sets up His kingdom, Israel will inherit the entire promised land (Ezek. 47-4http://www.christiantalkzone.net/archive/images/smiles/icon_cool.gif. The 144,000 will then be allotted their portions, each tribe of 12,000 receiving the land promised to them.
The Millennial Kingdom will look like this: · Jesus rules in Jerusalem from Mount Zion (Ps. 2:6-9, Zech. 14:9, 16).
· The 12 apostles sit on 12 thrones. A throne, or some kind of governmental office, will be established over each tribe. Each apostle, in his resurrected body, will rule in that office over a tribe.
· Each tribe, which begins the Millennium with 12,000 people, will have an apostle administrating it.
· The nations on the earth will be subject to the ruling that comes from Israel. The earth will be repopulated and the families of the earth will have to go to Jerusalem each year to worship the King (Zech. 14:17).

You probably figured i would do this, so where did Mr. Feldick go wrong?
While no doubt he is a good Christian he does make a lot of bad assumptions and analysis on some End Times issues.
He is trying to justify his doctrine.
But he just said above the AC and the Two Witnesses appear together and the Two die at Mid.
He reorganized Revelation out of given order.
Out of their preaching, almost immediately, they will have a response of their prophesying or speaking, by the 144,000 young Jewish men that we find in Chapter 7. Now let's read it:
This is pure foundationless assumption that flies in the face of what is said.
They are sealed in the 6th Seal on day 1,260 of the Trib and the Woman, which they are, immediately flees because the AC army is coming. They enter the place of safety on day 1,261 which is when the 3 Woes occur and the Woman is sealed away for 1,260 days.
They cannot be preaching when they are sealed away.
Revelation 12
13When the dragon saw that he had been hurled to the earth, he pursued the woman who had given birth to the male child. 14The woman was given the two wings of a great eagle, so that she might fly to the place prepared for her in the desert, where she would be taken care of for a time, times and half a time, out of the serpent's reach.
Revelation 7:1
"And after these things I saw four angels standing on the four corners of the earth (remember this is supernatural experiences in a supernatural time), holding the four winds of the earth, that the wind should not blow on the earth, nor on the sea, nor on any tree."
This is they 6th Seal on day 1,260 only.
Again on day 1,260.
Now isn't that easy to understand? These servants, I feel, have been listening to the two witnesses and so they are responding. Now look who they are in verse 4:
But is zero proof they are evangelists!
Revelation 7:4
"And I heard the number of them which were sealed (or designated or commissioned): and there were sealed an hundred and forty and four thousand (now watch where they come from) of all the tribes of the children of Israel."
This establishes them as the Woman. Note her crown has 12 stars which are they 12 Tribes.
So that there are no mistakes, He names them in verse 5-8 except for one.
So what does this offer as proof of them being evangelists?
And that question comes up often. Why isn't Dan and Ephraim mentioned in these 12 tribes? Remember, they moved up into the northern part of Israel, and what were the tribes guilty of? They were the first ones to go into idolatry.
And, consequently, they are left out of these 12 tribes.
Moot point for this issue. Meaningless.
And, consequently, they are left out of these 12 tribes. So we have 12,000 from each of the other 12 tribes all sealed and they are given a particular mission.
Where does it say they are given a mission? This is pure assumption that flies in the face of what the Chapter 12 says happens to them.
And here it comes in verse 9. As a result of their sealing:
Revelation 7:9
"After this I beheld, and, lo, a great multitude, which no man could number, of all nations
Nothing to do with the 144,000.
(that indicates that the 144,000 will not limit their ministry to just the Nation of Israel),
Bad assumption again. Never said and in violation of Chapter 12.
and kindreds, and people, and tongues, stood before the throne, and before the Lamb, clothed with white robes, and palms in their hands;"
Nothing to do with the 144,000.
He just moved backwards in time to before the 144,000 are even sealed. They are sealed in the 6th Seal.
Pure speculation and assumption. Nothing like this is ever said.
Except for the sealed ones all saints are handed over to the AC by God.
Daniels declares this. The Woman is the only sealed acception to the rule.
How can they be out in the world when Chapter 12 says they are sealed away for the full 3.5 years of the Great Trib?
Nothing to do with the 144,000.
Where is his proof for all these claims about the 144,000? The only passage about them says sealed and the sealed away in a special place. Then they disappear from the Trib verses completely.
The best way to study Revelation is not to try to take it chronologically, but find the events at the beginning, at the middle, and at the end of the Tribulation, and then fill in the gaps.
Meaning rearrange them in any order he sees fit to fit his doctrine.
Revelation is chronological.
Above he put the 5th Seal before the 6th Seal and seems to have moved the whole thing to the beginning of the Trib instead of Mid where it takes place.
He cannot doe this. He must take the events in the order presented seeing the literary flash backs and forwards as used.
As happens with Chapter 12. Back to Christ being born, then back to before Adam and the War in Heaven, then forward to Christ's sacrifice and then forward to Mid Trib.
All being historical data to make sense of what happens at Mid. And fully literal and well known literary techniques used for thousands of years.
Chronologically it won't make all that much sense to you.
Makes perfect sense. CTZ and I created the Charts in the link above in chronological flow.
So his statement here is thus proven false.
The past several lessons we have been looking at things at the beginning.
This confirms he is taking Mid events and moviing them to the beginning of the Trib.
Yep. He has sliced and diced Revelation like a puzzle and put it back together in a different order.
And so on with the rest that I will just include largely in this statement.
The problem is he reorganizes God's word to fit his doctrine then shovels in tons of assuptions without any Biblical evidence.

The 144,000 will be Jewish people who were left during the trib, because they did not see that Jesus christ was the Lord our God. There will be more Jewish people, but the 144,000 will be the ones saved, and see the light during the trib. They will be from the tribes of Isral, and be the ones who come to christ. Its written somewhere in the bible.

May I ask you something without it sounding like debate, because its just a question. I was wondering if the bible has a verse about the 144,000 being virgin males? And also, the 144,000 being all male.
I have read rev, and I do not remember reading this part. Please tell me the verses, so I can recollect my memory.
Thanks.

No problem.
Revelation 14
4These are those who did not defile themselves with women, for they kept themselves pure. They follow the Lamb wherever he goes. They were purchased from among men and offered as firstfruits to God and the Lamb. 5No lie was found in their mouths; they are blameless.
Also remember all leadership roles in the Bible are male.
Yes, defilement does not preclude marriage. But reality and the descriptives here do not lend to older men nor married.
