I some times Wonder

I some times wonder what God has in store. I very faintly see what is close at hand, I see clearer what is on the other shore. With eyes of faith I see streets of gold and other sites still left untold. I see myself standing on a mountaintop in glory, looking out over great, great distances, for hours maybe eons, just looking, looking in awe enraptured awe.
For now I must live here trusting God for what I cannot see knowing he really does love me.
I don’t know why this grace has come all I know for sure is,
I once was lost but now I’m found I was blind but now I see,
that God was in Christ reconciling me.
How precious did that grace appear the hour I first believed.
T’was grace that taught my heart to fear and grace my fears relieved.
Thru many dangers toils and snares I have already come.
T’was grace that brought me safe thus far and grace will lead me on.
When we’ve been there ten thousand years bright shining as the sun,
we’ve no less days to sing Gods praise then when we first begun.
Amazing grace, How sweet the sound that saved a wretch like me.
I once was lost but now I’m found. I was blind but now I see.

Thanks guys.
I wrote that back in 1991 I lived in a upstairs one room apartment. Hardly ever had two pennies to rub together but the needs were met.
Had some good times in the Lord.
I have a nice house now, two cars, a motorcycle and a boat. And to top it all off the most beautiful person in the world for a wife.
I was just has content then as I am now. Things don't bring peace and the happiness they to bring is fleeting.
Righteousness with contentment is great gain.

I love this little guy.
It's kinda the way I feel when I think about the day I got saved.

Ah yes. I see the old song "Amaging Grace" in there.

A power song to go with a powerful statement.
